Features

EUROCOOL pre-insulated pipes consist of:

  • EUROTTANTA PE100 service pipe for water transport (including potable water) according to EN 12201 and pressurized fluids according to EN ISO 15494 (other applications on request);
  • rigid closed-cell polyurethane (PUR) foam insulation layer with thermal conductivity below 29 mW/(m °C), according to EN 253 for district heating pipes;
  • EUROJACKET polyethylene external protective sheath, according to EN 253.

Designed for cooling transport.

EUROWARM pre-insulated pipes consist of:

  • PE100RT (Raised Temperatures) service pipe for water transport (including potable water) according to EN 12201 and pressurized fluids according to EN ISO 15494 (other applications on request);
  • rigid closed-cell polyurethane (PUR) foam insulation layer with thermal conductivity below 29 mW/(m °C), according to EN 253 for district heating pipes;
  • EUROJACKET polyethylene external protective sheath, according to EN 253.

Designed for heat transport.

Applications

EUROCOOL and EUROWARM pipes are suitable for any situation where thermal exchange between the transported fluid and the external environment must be prevented. They are successfully used for:

  • cooling transport, refrigerant liquids (air conditioning, district cooling, industrial cooling, etc.) within the operating range from -50 °C to +40 °C;
  • heat transport, heating liquids (heating, thermal waters, geothermal applications, etc.) within the operating range from -50 °C to +70 °C;
  • prevention of fluid freezing in cold environments or climates, as well as prevention of overheating in hot environments and from irradiation.

EUROCOOL and EUROWARM pipes are suitable for both underground and above-ground installation: the sheaths resist direct irradiation and ambient temperature fluctuations, protecting the internal parts of the system throughout its operational life.
