 The
reliability of PE distribution systems is the result of three main factors: pipe
quality, joint accuracy and correct laying of the pipeline.
Owing to the properties of the raw materials used and the characteristics of the
company manufacturing process, EUROTUBI pipes can guarantee a reliability and consistency
of service of the whole system hardly obtainable with different materials.
The technical and economic advantages offered by EUROTUBI products, which can be
appreciated not only during laying operations but throughout the system lifetime,
can be summarized as follows.
EASY AND COST EFFICIENCY OF JOINT AND LAYING OPERATIONS
The lightness, flexibility and excellent weldability of EUROTUBI pipes make it possible
to carry out the welding operations of various pipe lengths out of the trench. The
dig dimensions can therefore be strictly reduced to the size of the pipe with obvious
economic advantages and increased operation speed. Owing to PE's excellent stress-cracking
resistance (resilience), EUROTUBI pipes can be easily handled without any fear of
damage, even when bumping against the trench walls.
CONSISTENCY OF THE PIPELINE
Owing to PE's processability, special workpieces can be easily manufactured to measure,
so as not to break the consistency of the pipeline and better guarantee its reliability.
IMMUNITY TO CORROSION
Owing to PE's properties, EUROTUBI pipes are never subject to corrosion, therefore
they do not need the cathodic protection required by metal pipes.
