 UNDERWATER
PIPELINES
EUROTUBI pipes are ideal for underwater pipelines in marine or lake environments,
in the presence of particularly aggressive corrosive agents and critical static-dynamic
situations. Owing to their immunity to corrosion, exceptional flexibility and adaptability
to the hardest laying conditions, polyethylene pipes are now regarded as the best
answer to this type of applications.
SLOTTED PIPES FOR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS
The chemical inertia and laying ease of EUROTUBI products make their use ideal for
the collection of percolations or biogas produced on landfill sites. To meet customers’
demands in such applications EUROTUBI manufactured slotted pipes with a wide range
of available slots so as to provide good solutions to any requirements.
RELINING
The replacement of obsolete water, gas or sewage systems is becoming a very important
issue nowadays. EUROTUBI pipes provide quite interesting no-dig solutions to reuse
the tracks of old defective systems.
Owing to their flexibility and junction ease out of the trench, EUROTUBI pipes can
be easily pulled through obsolete pipelines saving money (since the digging is limited
to the pipe way in and out) and time (the laying speed ranges between 1.5 and 3
m/min).
The favourable pressure to thickness ratio of pipes manufactured with PE100 guarantees
bigger flow rates making them remarkably suitable for this application.
TRANSPORT OF AGGRESSIVE FLUIDS
Owing to their excellent resistance to abrasion and chemical agents, EUROTUBI pipes
are successfully used to convey particularly aggressive fluids such as industrial
products, saline solutions and abrasive sludge.
